We’re honored to share that Kate’s Club’s Newnan location was featured in the July/August 2024 issue of Newnan-Coweta Magazine!

The article highlights our mission to support grieving children and their families in the Newnan, GA area through meaningful connection, healing, and fun.

Local Grief Support

Abby’s Angels Foundation, in partnership with Kate’s Club, offers programs that provide grieving children and their families with support, connection, and fun in the Newnan, GA area through three key initiatives:

  1. Family Night -Weeknight programming with activities designed to bring grieving families together for support, connection, and fun.
  2. Camp Good Mourning -Welcomes members from all clubhouses to Camp Twin Lakes in Winder, GA, for a variety of grief support and outdoor activities. Two weekend sessions are available: April or August.
  3. Clubhouse Days -Monthly half-day grief support programs where clubhouse members participate in social, recreational, and therapeutic group activities led by volunteers, therapists, artists, and a variety of others with special skills.

Kate’s Club Vision

Kate’s Club’s vision is a world in which it is OK to grieve. Grief in children can be isolating and misunderstood. Kate’s Club offers a safe and welcoming environment where the child/teen can spend time with others their age who have similar grief experiences.
